It's close! I still need to add some belt loops in the back for the sash thing, and I might make the top an inch or two shorter. Plus it needs to be hemmed but I have to wait until someone can come over and help me measure that before I can get that done. Here's what it looks like now.
And please ignore my unmade bed.
Re: It's not finished, but...
I don't know what I'm more impressed with, your mad sewing skills or your flat tummy. I didn't even look like that before pregnancy.
Oh, and I have the same bed
Oh my gosh, Leslie, that is GORGEOUS! I LOVE it. It's just so classic and vintage and glamorous. And you look stunning in it. I'm seriously impressed!

You make me want to break out the sewing machine! What pattern did you use?
It's beautiful on you.
PRETTY!
Love the cut, love the fabric, love the way it fits you. Handmade dresses are amazing.
Leslie,
That is stunning! You are SO beautiful!

Um, a couple of pictures I found online and my measurements? I suck with patterns so I usually make things from scratch.
Yep. I started at 8pm after the kids went to bed and worked on it until 1am. Then another couple hours this morning, so 7-8 hours total?
OMG, Leslie! That is beautiful, as are you!
::green with jealousy of your mad sewing skillz::
OMFG. That is GORGEOUS! Leslie, seriously. That is amazing.
I'm totally hiring you to make me one. I have always, always, always wanted a backless dress.
