What were the colors or theme of your wedding? Brown was the main color, along with reds, oranges and yellows. Think fall.
What did you do for your bachelorette party? We went out to dinner and did a bar crawl in Tuscaloosa.
Did you get an odd wedding gift? If so, what was it? A jewel-encrusted decorative egg that had a plastic dome top that was supposed to look like carved crystal. Inside was a little plastic bride and groom.
Is there something about your wedding that you think was a wedding trend at the time? (ie, style of dress, certain food at reception, certain favor, etc.) I love brown bridesmaid dresses but I've been in three weddings in the last 4 years that used that color. I think that eventually we'll look back and say "Oh that was so 2000's." The back bustle area of my dress also had a few pickups in it, which I think was a trend.

Is there something about your wedding that you think was a wedding trend at the time? (ie, style of dress, certain food at reception, certain favor, etc.) I did the Hershey bar with the personalized wrapper...I think that is trendy.
Let me also say that we had a huge wedding planned for June, and cancelled it 8 months before and decided to move it up to November, at the beach, with only 15 guests. SO, I planned it in about 30 days and saved so much money!!!

How many bridesmaids did you have? None, my brother was my man of honor (we also had a small beach wedding)
How many wedding guests? I think we had about 80ish there
What were the colors or theme of your wedding? We didn't really have colors. My flowers were white, DH wore a blue shirt, and the guys (my brother and his dad) wore green shirts
What did you do for your bachelorette party? About 10 of my girlfriends and I went to Gulf Shores for Mullet Toss weekend. The band that played at my reception was headlining at the Flora-Bama, but by the time we had pre-party drinks and made it there the Fire Marshall wouldn't let anyone else in
We still had a BLAST that weekend, though!

My dress was pretty traditional, the music was definitely classic, heck, we didn't even have a wedding cake, we had "wedding key lime pie" lol! I guess the "trendiest" thing about it was that we didn't have a guestbook, we had everyone sign a photo mat.

How many wedding guests? I would guess 60-75
What were the colors or theme of your wedding? It was a beach wedding, so I guess that was the theme. The BM dresses were pool blue.
What did you do for your bachelorette party? I didn't have one.
Did you get an odd wedding gift? If so, what was it? I got a set of neon plastic mixing bowls with matching neon kitchen towels.
Is there something about your wedding that you think was a wedding trend at the time? (ie, style of dress, certain food at reception, certain favor, etc.) Maybe the custom water bottle labels. I designed and printed them so I could save money. I was able to do 100 bottles for less than $30!

What were the colors or theme of your wedding? I used bright colors...the bridesmaids wore a pretty raspberry color and we had blues, oranges, yellows, greens decorating the reception and the flowers were a color mixture of those colors

(ie, style of dress, certain food at reception, certain favor, etc.) probably having guests sign a photo mat instead of a guest book if that is considered a trend....we also didn't have a grooms cake, we did a dessert buffet instead (but we did have a wedding cake)

What were the colors or theme of your wedding? Mainly blue (think "Pool" from David's Bridal), had fuschia calla lillies, my bouquet was white callas
What did you do for your bachelorette party? My friends came here and we were going to the Supperclub to see U.S. Band...that night we found out Niffer's was no longer serving the large fishbowls
...which are huge alcoholic drinks that you had to have 5 people to be able to order one. And the lead singer was sick, so there was a horrible stand-in 
BUT we made the best of it and had a blast!

What did you do for your bachelorette party? Sorry, must give u a short story. The first and main one was a trip to Vegas w/ 4 out of the 6 maids acouple months before the wedding. That was supposed to be it, except that while we were in the airport on the way home my BFF got a call from a GMA producer telling her she won a weeklong cruise for herself and 9 other people. She had written in for one of their contests about how she and all her friends were all so close w/ our moms and how much we had all been through together. So 2 weeks later, off we went (3 of us, and our moms, and 4 other friends/relatives) on the Norweigen Jewel. Got pics w/ Diane Sawyer and Gayle King. Then a week before the wedding, the one BM that I hadn't done anything went threw me a bachelorette shindig at her house. So suffice it to say - I partied.
Did you get an odd wedding gift? If so, what was it? Not that I recalled. I did get a horrendously ugly set of ceramic "lovebirds" I guess? A coworker of my mom inscribed our names and wedding date on it. So ugly. But I can't seem to bring myself to get rid of it.

It was the pickup skirt thing. I loved it and still do, but I'm kicking myself till this day because I had always said i didn't want to do trendy, but I got sucked in. The day I went for my fitting there was a dress in the window that I loved and thought was perfect and more me but my mom wouldn't let me even ask about a trade. Kicking myself for that too. I couldn've sold the other dress on ebay! Oh the candy buffet was also trendy. I guess it still sort of is?

What did you do for your bachelorette party? rented a limo, went to one of those paint your pottery places and my BMs packed a picnic lunch. Then we went down town to my favorite dessert place for dessert and drinks. My 13 year old sister was with us - so we had to keep it PG-13
Did you get an odd wedding gift? If so, what was it? Yes - my mom's friend is a passion party rep - she gave me this weird heart shaped pillow and used lingerie and some massage oil....EEW

How many bridesmaids did you have? 10 ( a lot I know!--however, since it was shortly after graduating college, I didn't want to hurt the feelings of anyone and I had certain groups of close friends that I wanted included--family, best friends from home, best friends from college, best friends from sorority)

What were the colors or theme of your wedding? the dresses were a "summer" red w/ brightly colored flowers--hot pinks, orange, lime, etc.

Did you get an odd wedding gift? If so, what was it? yes--this tacky hand painted ceramic basket--it had to be from QVC or HSN and it had a re-order form for other colors and they were 89.95 a piece!! Uh--could you not have just gotten me a place setting or something?!

What did you do for your bachelorette party? It was on St. Patty's Day and we had dinner at a gf's house in Atlanta first, and then went to some big country & western bar in the suburbs. All I remember about the drive home is that our taxicab driver had an eyepatch. Apparently, he put us out on the street and we had to call another cab b/c I kept saying "Arrrrgh" to/at him. *blush*

I think we kind of did our own thing for the most part -- some of them ended up really traditional, some ended up really unique, but I don't think any were too terribly trendy.
