Anyone else dealing with PUPPP?

Here's a link if you don't know what I'm talking about. Big Smile

I haven't been diagnosed yet, because it just popped up in the last 2 or 3 days, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

My belly stretch marks are SUPER DUPER itchy with tiny little bumps in them.  Itchy to the point of almost not being able to concentrate on anything else.  Luckily, it hasn't spread anywhere else yet (warning: do NOT do a Google image search!).

A cool wash cloth kept my mind off of it for a few minutes, but man, it's so itchy.

Next time I go to the doctor (2 weeks from now), I'll ask for a prescription for a cream or something, but anyone have any other remedies?

Batman likes to watch cartoons on the weekends. Whatever.

    Thanks so much for posting the link.  Everytime I see that acronym, I wonder what it means, but not enough to ask!  :0)  Gratefully, it isn't something I've suffered from....so I'm no help to you!  Good luck!

    Benedryl creams and creams with oatmeal should provide some relief. I don't have PUPPP, but I broke out in a horrible rash when I found out I was allergic to Penicillin and found the best relief came from rubbing milk of magnesia on the rash. It will leave a milky white film on your skin when it dries, but it really does take the edge off of the itch. I also remember reading that drinking nettle tea can help, but thankfully my rash subsided before I tried the tea. Good luck momma!

    My doula told me that she had a client have huge success with dandelion root. I don't have pupps, but I've just been really itchy, so she mentioned it. You can find a lot of info about it if you google dandelion root and PUPPS.

    I have it badly! I tried all creams and nothing worked so I told my OB and he gave me some strong anti itch medicine and its been working good so far :D

    What is it?  I might need to bring a specific name up at my next appointment.
