I love the name Callum, but DH dislikes the nn Cal. I can't seem to convince him. What are some other names that are similar but don't have the nn Cal?
PS, if you don't want the nn Cal, all you need to do is correct people when they call him that. It was a big concern with my son Dillon, that people would call him Dill - a couple people did and I corrected them immediately - they have not done it again. Granted, when your child is older if he prefers being called Cal, you will have to get used to it.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Callum (nickname Cal) is on our short list!
Similarly great names that don't have obvious nicknames: Connor, Emmett, Elliott.
