Mother's Day Decison ... need to decide fast!

We are first time parents and my husband wanted to take me and our five month old son out for a Mother's Day brunch at either the Garden City Hotel for $69.00 pp or The Carltun in Eisenhower Park for $49.00 pp. Bother menus seem the same except that the Carltun breaks it down more specifically. I know this is a nice decision to have to make but which would you go with? I have been to GC many years ago in the Polo Room for dinner and used to go to there night club when I was single but I have never been The Carltun at all. Anyone hear things lately about these places? Which would you go with? I need to decide soon

    We went to a wedding at The Carltun and it was very nice and I remember the food was good. Enjoy!

    My DH and I just had brunch at the Garden City Hotel a few weeks ago. It was ok. I was glad we weren't footing the bill because I would not have spent that much money! I think it is overpriced for what you get and the service/atmosphere is average. Sorry I dont have anything to add on the Carltun but good luck in your search!
