The baby shower thank yous were definitely more difficult to write than the wedding ones... and then the thank you notes for the baby gifts after dd was born were even harder!!
I remember that. I had my first shower early at 25 weeks (I had to travel and wasn't allowed to travel after 26 weeks). I used my 3 hour GTT to write them, what else did I have to do. LOL! After my second one at 32 weeks, I was on bedrest and so I also had nothing better to do then.
but lok at it this way at least you will be all done with them before the baby arrives i am going to be writing thank yous and dealing with 2 newborns.
Thank-yous can be so overwhelming! Even though I think they're important and I really do appreciate what others have done, I HATE writing them. I tried to set a limit (like 5 every day for a week) to make it seem a little less overwhelming -- and I would write them while watching a favorite show.
Ugh, the shower thank yous are just the beginning! It is so nice to be so loved but after a while you really hope the gifts will stop coming ; ) After he is born you are going to get inundated again and then it is so much harder to keep up with it then. Makes me want to say no gifts please for her birthday but I'm afraid people will be upset by that.
