    I am an SLP and have heard of VCFS - velo cardio facial syndrome.  I believe Dr. Shprintzen out of syracuse maybe identified the sequence/syndrome.  As an SLP our primary area of focus was the cleft palate.

    wait just re read your post and it says VCSF are they different?

    If you are talking about VCFS, it is considered the same syndrome as DiGeorge and 22q deletion syndrome. The syndrome comes with a wide variance of problems. My son has this syndrome and his heart defect is the biggest issue.
