so happy my preemie is growing!

further evidenced by having to put some clothes that he can't fit anymore into a box. since he was premature and was even swimming in newborn clothes initially, i am pleased that the smaller running newborn clothes are too small and all of his preemie clothes are too small.

i gotta admit that i was surprised at how low my self-esteem was in relation to feeding my little man. i always doubted if i was doing enough, that he was getting enough, especially when he was breast feeding (had to do a combination of breast feeding & bottle of BM + fortification from formula for additional calories). even though i know that when he eats at the breast and eats all he needs, since he eats until he is finished or falls asleep. even each of my initial ped. appts. showed that he was gaining at the high end of the range (ped. said that they wanted to see 0.5 to 1 oz./day and he was gaining a smidge more than an oz./day).

anyway, i love, love, love that i am boxing up some clothes to either donate or consign.

    Yay! It did feel good to box up those preemie clothes.  She is even getting too long for her newborn sleepers.

    That is the best feeling...just when I think how small DD is she goes up to the next size diaper or next size clothes and it makes me so happy! Yay for our preemies getting big and strong!
