Freezer stash Gone...

After the weekend we had my entire stash (albeit a small one) is gone.  Something was awry this weekend with the Monkey and he would. not. sleep.  This was very odd b/c he has STTN since the day we brought him home.  I was up pretty much all weekend.  So in desperation DH and I supplemented feeding him with the freezer stash I had going.  As of last night I had nothing left and started all over again.  I'm hoping to stay up a little late tonight and get an extra pumping in before I go to bed.  I like having that stash for evenings when DH wants to feed the Monkey or when I need to run errands at night.  *sigh*  I never pump more than 3 oz at a time at night so this may take a while.  :(

    I was never a very prolific pumper either, even when my girls got older (I nursed them each for a year).  I know everyone has different feelings about this, but I decided to supplement with some formula instead of killing myself trying to pump when it just wasn't working to make a stash.  What I did was start by mixing about 3/4 bm to 1/4 formula, then slowly work it up until they would take a full formula bottle.  The bonus to that is that they then would take a straight bm bottle, a mix, or formula, so you're always covered no matter what!

    I have cleaned out my stash several times and it got built up faster than I would have thought.  I also only get about 3-4 ounces per pump.

    I hope his sleep is better tonight.  I'm tring to get my supply up so I a married to my pump right now : (
