Baby boy arrived yesterday!

Naturally my water broke the night b/f scheduled induction - 11 days late- and labor went really smoothly. I was at the hospital by 9pm and pushing by 4am yesterday. Unfortunately he was a little bigger than my pelvis, so we ended up with a c-section and had our son yesterday 8:07 a.m. 8lbs, 15oz and 21 inches with a FULL HEAD of blond hair!

My husband has been wonderful! We were an awesome team during labor- platelets were high enough (barely) for drugs - unfortunately couldn't ever get the epidural straight and it ended up wearing off. Had to have a spinal tap for c-section which began wearing off right at the end- I was moving legs/toes within 30 minutes of being wheeled to PACU.

Congratulations! Your due date was very close to mine (mine was last year) and then your little boy was born on the same day as my DD! That's too funny! The 23rd is a wonderful day! : )
