Well, it took DH 2 weeks of dragging his feet to get the blood drawn for his chromosomal analysis, and it took 4 weeks for the university lab to send the results to my doctor (they weren't faxed until my doc's office called them because I called my doc to see if the results were in). BUT the good news is DH's chromosomes are normal, too!!
So, right now the only question is whether I do have something going on with the antiphospholipids. I am going to do the 2nd blood draw on 5/1, and I have my annual exam scheduled for the end of May. Last time the results only took 2 weeks, so I'm hoping that we'll have the results and can get a green light to try again after that doctor's visit. And if I'm counting my cycle days correctly, it'll be just in time to start trying again immediately.
Because of SIL's history with IF, it did concern me that something could be wrong, so I'm just relieved that, with the exception of a possible autoimmune issue, there doesn't seem to be any obvious reason why we couldn't have a successful pregnancy. If that test comes back OK, it'll give me the assurance I need to have the confidence to try again. And if it doesn't, at least it is something that can be managed to increase our chances. It'll probably be a loooong month, though!
Re: What a relief!
best of luck. DH and I had 2 natural mcs as well before having DD#1 via our first ever IVF.
We were eventually told that DH had some issues (low morph, low motility), but as it turns out we got pg naturally with DD#2 after only 3 months of TTC on our own.
