Does anyone watch 16 and pregnant?

I was watching the after-show with Dr. Drew and he asked them how many expect the father of their children to be in their child's life and just about all of them raised their hands. Then he asked how many have their own biological fathers in their lives, and only a few raised their hands. It was really heartbreaking (hell, the whole show is heartbreaking! I can't get through an episode without crying). It was just amazing to see how biological fathers just disappear.

    It's a cycle that perpetuates. So it's not surprising, but it is heartbreaking.

    I didn't see all of the episodes this season, but the few that I saw were really rough.  The one that sticks out most is the girl whose BF called her fat and stretch-marked.  I sat there and cried because I felt so bad for her.  It's a very sad show.

    I do. I agree it's just sad. I just hope teens who watch it are taking home the message of this is hard and think twice...

    It's one of my DVR'ed shows. It makes me so sad and angry, I don't know why I watch it.

    That BF was a prick.  Wasn't he the one fighting while the girl was in labor?  Could you imagine having to go through that when you're in labor?

    I hope the couple with the twin girls makes it - that was a daddy who loved his babies for sure!

    and the episode where the BF called her fat and stretched marked, I seriously thought I was going to vomit.

    I loved this dad! I thought he was so great.

    I didn't see the episode where the friends were being mean. I'm glad they could see themselves act like idiots on TV.

    We watched the marathon last weekend. I couldn't stop watching it! Its hard to be a mom - it would be a thousand times harder to be a teen mom.

    I was really glad the one girl at least tried breastfeeding, but I kept telling DH that someone needed to get her a lacation consultant so she could keep going!  He can't believe how many things they do that they told us not to at the hospital (putting all those toys in the crib, microwaving bottles, etc.)

    OMG...I know! I was shocked that they were microwaving them too! My kid has only ever had a hand full of bottles (all BM), and even I know that! hahaha!
