I am involved in another board that moves much faster (moms corner). I come on occasionally to check new posts, and mostly help out with ChaCha.

Funny thing is, at last check I saw 70-some views on this topic. That's either a lot of lurkers or people keep checking the results!

Personally, there just isn't enough posts over this way. No posts=little activity=boring Sad I tried the other day though! Big Smile

Plus, I think this board was always "hidden" unless you looked for it by clicking up on "boards". Now most of the main boards (minus the locals) are on on the left...easier to see which ones exist and easier to just "visit" a few new ones every once in a while. Maybe that will pick up the traffic in here...a few new ladies saying, "Hey, I didn't know they had that board"....

I have always been a lurker...but do check this board out every so often and all the posts ever seem to be about is cha-cha.

I find it amusing 47% find this board "boring" which is why they never post... but they're here reading this post. It must not be THAT boring if you keep coming back! :-P

I am not active for 2 reasons not listed

1. I am tired of cha-cha posts

2. Some of the parenting views (styles?) on the board are different then mine and it makes me uncomfortable (for lack of a better term)

I guess I qualify as lurker/don't feel I have much to contribute. I am not currently a SAHM, nor am I pregnant (yet), but I do appreciate that I can talk to you and get further insight as we make our decision about whether or not I can be a SAHM or if I need to start lurking on the working moms board.

I lurk here occasionally because I just recently got pregnant with my first, and am not a SAHM yet. I plan on staying home with my baby so I have gotten some information from you ladies. I haven't been lurking as much lately because ChaCha doesn't interest me, so I have no interest in reading the posts and it seems that was all that was talked about! I hope to become more active in the next few months.
