10lbs in 13 weeks?!

This morning I stepped on the scale to see what I weigh.  My scale and the dr's office scale are usually pretty close when I weigh myself right before I go to my appointments.  Anyway, I'm up almost 10lbs and I'm only 13 weeks!  EEEK!

    I gained 5 lbs in 3 weeks...according to the scale at my doctors office. I was pretty sad. Looks like we are on the same track sister! lol

    jrhodes - that sounds exactly like what I did last time....4lbs in 2.5weeks!  I gained 29 with DS and I was hoping to try to gain about that much this time.  Yeah....doesn't look like that's going to happen!!  :-)

    I called DH to tell him and I was stressing about it and he said, "Hey you're 1/3 of the way there.  If you keep going at this pace, that's only 30lbs."  Way to go DH!  Definitely the RIGHT thing to say to me at the time.  I keep imagining me gaining 100 lbs.  Way to make me feel a little better :-)

    BTW, I just checked my old notes from my pregnancy with DS and it looks like I'm following almost the same pattern - I gained about 10lbs per trimester.  Let's hope that I follow that and not the "traditional" weight gain that most books, etc talk about or I'm in serious trouble!

    Love you too!  I'm not complaining at all about being down in weight - just means my fat clothes are fitting me longer, lol.  Although I am in full maternity clothing today, because they are just comfy.
