Just for fun, starting today, I will post every day an "If" question - they are from a book I have called 500 Questions for the Game of Life.

So here is today's:

If you had to name one thing that you envy most about your mate, what would it be?

Easy! His ability to fall asleep within about a minute of laying down no matter where he is or what time of day it is! I suck at napping and this would be super helpful!

I'll start

I envy DH's beautiful, perfect, teeth. He has never had to have braces or any kind of work done on them, other than standard cleaning, polishing etc. He has a gorgeous smile that I envy. I on the other hand I have had braces twice, retainers, and all kinds of trouble. It seems to run in my family Hope DS gets his father's teeth!

His confidence. I am really lacking in the self esteem department and he is so confident without being cocky. It is definitely one of his traits that made me fall in love with him. I hope DS has his confidence for sure.

The sleep thing! My body doesn't let me sleep more than three hours at a time anymore. DH can sleep eight whole hours uninterrupted if given the chance.

His quick wit. He is great at making jokes at the spur of the moment and instantly knows what to say . I am one of those people that sits there for a half a day and then goes "i should have said...."

I would LOVE to have his sense of "go with the flow" attitude. He is so laid back with everything that sometimes I feel like the "Kate" if we had a "Jon and Kate" relationship.

DH is ridiculously mechanically inclined/handy. He built a deck off our old house so he could have the space to throw me a graduation party when I finished grad school. It was 20x30 (HUGE) and he had never built anything like that before, and basically did the entire thing himself. He can also put anything together or built just about anything without instructions or manuals or anything. He just sees how it should work and makes it happen. I can sit there WITH the manual for 4 hours and not make it work at all..

His love of exercise. I hate it. I'm all for a walk around our neighborhood together but will never put on running shoes and go run a 1/2 marathon. He loves it.

I love this post!!

I would have to say his ability to not let things bother him. I get worked up over the stupidest stuff. Also, he doesn't care what others think of him. I always think people are mad at me.
