Help! A little TMI relating to CD1 (i think)

Hey TTCAL, I hope everyone had a great day! I need some help, I had a huge temp drop this morning and then around 8:30, got what I think is my period.  I filled one panti-liner and only 1/2 a regular tampon (sorry if TMI).  I am asking this question, because I start clomid on cycle day 5, do I count today as day 1 or do you think that is not a heavy enough flow and it should be more of spotting?  I am sorry to ask this,it may seem dumb, but nervous about starting Clomid and don't want to screw up!

BTW-Sucks because no 2010 baby for me! On-to 2011!!!

    I think if it's that early you can count it as CD1.  I'm not sure, though.

    I used to count any blood as CD1 until I came here, and talked to the RE!  Now it can be confusing.
