I just went through every single emotion...after POAS.

So, after having DS, I decided not to go back on hormonal BC but it made me BSC.  We have been charting and using condoms.  I miscalculated this month in my charting, thinking I was waaay past ovulation and so we skipped the condom.  After I started having dizzy spells and extreme bloating this week, which were my first symptoms with DS, I went back and recounted.  turns out, we did the deed on ovulation day.  I have taken like 15 First response tests today, all positive.  I cried, I laughed, I cried some more.  And Holy crap...I'm terrified.  I didn't even want to think about trying again until like next year at this time...but 2 under 2, here we come!

    Wow, that would be a shock! Congratulations! H&H 9 months to you! Hopefully the terror won't last long and the excitement will kick in quickly.

    Congratulations!  You'll be fine!

    We are definitely not ready for another one now but sometimes when I see a tiny baby or look at Nora's newborn photos, I get the itch.  (shh don't tell MH)

    Welcome to the club! I cried on and off for 2 days. I called my best friend and told her I was going to die. I held ds and apologized and cried and cried. 4 months later I am so thrilled!     Thanks everyone :)  I think I'm excited, but right now I'm in shock/freaking out mode.  When I told Dh...his response was, "Well, I guess we will need one of those double strollers?"

    I thought this to but I'm a first born in my family. DH is 4th born and he never had his parents all to himself. That gave me some perspective. And a sibling relationship is priceless and lasts a lifetime so you are really giving ds something wonderful.

    Congratulations.

    The shock will wear off, I promise :) 2u2 gets a bad reputation but there are a lot of positives as well.

    Thanks!  And we can't really afford it either, especially considering I am still working on my Master's....so I guess we will be seriously budgeting for the next few years!  :)

    Congrats! I got a BFP over the weekend too and had every emotion as well. Now the shock has somewhat worn off, so I'm excited!! H&H 9 months...at least we're not alone!

    Congrats! Mine are 21 months apart and it's great. It made for a pretty easy transition for DS.
