I just paid $37 for an eyebrow wax

I am still confused as to how that happened.  Apparently, Red Door Spa charges $32 for an eyebrow wax and the rest was gratuity.

I should have gone to Nordstrom and taken a really late lunch.

Also, let me add that I am not against a $32 eyebrow wax, but I was not in the city and Red Door /= Bliss.

 

Still, 30 minutes later I am dazed.

    I pay $27 for getting my hair washed, trimmed and styled....that's including tip. I sooooo couldn't live in the city.

    When I lived in NY, I remember paying $60 for a haircut..back in the early 90s. But it was one of the best haircuts I ever got.

    I pay $35 now for a muff wax in the Midwest before tip.

    OMG. i always go to Asha for threading. they have a few all over that ive seen. >$10 incl tip.  i love them

    I SOOO want to try threading!! DH is the one who told me about it actually.  He says in Iraq they have little street kiosks where some of the soldiers went.  It looks pretty kick a$$

    omg in the city they won't even blow dry your hair for $37.  You can pa $50 for a shampoo and cut and they let you walk out with wet, unstyled hair.  Or you can pay $65 ad they'll blow it dry and make it pretty.

    OMG! I paid $65 with tip last night at my appointment ? full highlights, wash, cut, and style ? including tip. And that's the expensive place in town. Lol.

    I didn't like the threading.  It hurt and felt like someone was dragging a guitar string across my forehead.

    EWW on the threading and yea, I pay about 80.00 for just a haircut because they charge me double since I have enough hair for three people...AND its half way down my back.

    ::sigh::

    I guess I shouldn't complain since I've had people flat out REFUSE to cut my hair because its so thick.

    Same here!  I hate it...everyone is always saying how lucky I am but it totally sucks...I can't do anything with it and no style that I can *actually do* looks good..frack
