We took this class tonight. It's a 2.5hour class that goes over infant cpr, child (age 1-8), cpr, what to do for an infant/child choking, and finally - car seat stuff (installation, etc.)
Just giving it a big ole' thumbs UP in case anyone was thinking about taking it. It's one of those classes where you obviously think, "I hope to God I never have to use this..." A lot of practicing done by both you and your partner.
The class ended with a dvd about car seat installation, it's not like anyone inspected your car seat or anthing (don't want to mislead anyone there.) But they do give a list of recommended phone numbers if you need your car seat checked out.
