I went to the OB this morning for a follow up to the m/c appointment, and left feeling annoyed and frustrated.
He did a sonogram which showed that everything is completely back to normal, and that apparently my hormones have completely regulated. There's a good looking 10 mm follicle on my right ovary, and my OB says he thinks I'll ovulate within the week. Of course, we're not trying right now - so having that information is annoying.
He also said that they have the pathology results back from the testing on the fetus, and the results are.... inconclusive. The cells wouldn't grow, so they couldn't do any testing at all. Eff'ing frustrating.
This is how I feel now:

Not knowing is my biggest frustration from my loss. I am just not the sort of person who deals well with the unknown. At one point I just wanted to scream at my doctor to do his job and figure out what the he11 happened instead of telling me "we'll probably never know."
And really, why tell you the thing about ovulating within a week? Maybe he thought that would make you feel better to know your body is getting back on track but really, sometimes I think docs just don't get it.
I'm sorry you're going through this.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
