NBR: Recommend your coffee maker

My Hamilton Beach "Brew Station," circa 2002, has been dying a slow death the last 6 months.  Today she started leaking, so I think it's time for her to retire.  I love that it doesn't have a glass carafe and I can start filling my cup mid-brew (no burning drips).  After a quick look down the aisle at Target & Kohls, I realize there are A LOT of coffee makers out there.  I need to stay under $50-60.  My parents love their Cuisinart, but I don't need all the bells & whistles.

    First, I love that you call your coffee pot a "she", second, sorry it is dying.

    We also have a Cuisinart and LOVE it, we've had it for about 4-5 years. DH got it for a really good price, but I have no idea where. It is THIS one. He did a ton of research and found it was the best rated one, we also grind our own beans, and are picky on the coffee and we always get compliments from guests who have to use our coffee pot or drink the coffee!

    ETA: We have a separate grinder as well.

    You can get a great deal at Kohls on a Cuisinart. Even Costco has them from time to time. I would recommend not getting one with a grinder (only because the grinder on ours has been known to break). We have a basic model and love the product.

    we have this one and this grinder. ditto OP about NOT buying one w/ the grinder, my mom works at BB&B PT doing registries and kitchen items and she said they see more returns/problems with the cuisinarts w/ the grinders. she had one when they first came out and said it was awful. our grinder has been going strong for 4+ years now.

    We also have a Cuisinart.  We actually have the one with the grinder and love it.  We've never had a problem with it and it's going on 5+ years.  I guess it's the luck of the draw!

    I am in love with my Keurig Coffee Maker.  Nothing says yum like a fresh hot cup of coffee any time you want one.  Not to mention that I can have a different flavor everytime if I want.
