I actually like it! I suggested this name to DH when we were throwing around names for DS2. I'm not sure I would have ever gone through with using it personally, but I do like it.
ETA: Definitely the Bryson spelling and I like the nn Bryce.

not my style, but I like really unusual names- so that doesn't really count. That said- I'd like it on other kids- and I defintiely prefer the 'y' spelling- I've seen it before, but the 'c' spelling looked goofy to me. I also really like the NN Bryce!
Re: Boy name .. Honest opinions pls.
Honestly, it looks silly and made-up. Also, I think it's very feminine with the "y" in it.

I know a guy (in his 30s now) named Bryson--I like it.
I like the spelling Bryson.
I don't mind Bryson - I know a Bryce and he's a real cute kid so I have a good association with the name.
Have you considered Bryden? That's another similar "b" name that I've heard and liked.

I think Bryden is horrid, like that made up trendy Jaden Caden Braden nonsense.
Bryce is nice, and Bryson is too, but *not* spelled Brycen.
Bryce is a really great boys name.
I don't like these two.
Don't like, sounds too close to the vacuum cleaner Dyson.

Exactly what I thought of when I first saw the name.
