I feel like I have the flu!

Last night at dinner, started with minor contractions (BH I think?) and wasn't able to finish dinner due to the nausea. Was up and down most of the night but the contractions did subside. Woke up around 5 am with diarrhea and still just feeling icky. No contractions this morning though. I have felt LO move some, though not as precise movement (though I wouldn't expect that at this point - no room in the inn to move around :) )

Anyone feel like this towards the end of their pregnancy? I have my weekly appt at 10 so I'm holding off calling the dr until then, but I'm curious as to whether I have a bug or it's my body prepping for labor...

    That is often what the start of labor can be like for some women.  Good luck!

     This! :-)  Our childbirth class teacher called it the "bad fish taco symptoms" (vs. water breaking or noticing regular contractions).

    That's how I felt the morning I went into labor with DD. BUT, this time around I have had many of those episodes since about 36 weeks and I am still pregnant over 2 weeks later so I guess as with any "symptom" sometimes it means something and sometimes it doesn't. Good luck!

    I hope it is the beginning of labor for you both, and you are a couple weeks ahead of me so it very well could be, but I had the flu Monday and Tuesday and this is how I felt:(  I had my weekly doctor's appointment and they told me that it had nothing to do with the baby, that I was just sick.  This was good news to me as I would like him to bake a little bit longer, but I hope this is whatever you want it to be and that you feel better soon!!! Big Smile
