What swing have you purchased or are wanting purchase?

I cannot decide on a swing. I really liked the Fisher Price Precious Planet cradle swing, but it does not get the best reviews. If you have purchased this swing or have used it, would you recommend it? What one do you have or plan on getting?

My sister bought us the Graco Sweet Peace (the newer one with the Giraffe print) I fell in love with how soft it was along with all the features. I can't wait for my shower so I can see it put together!

Not exactly the prettiest swing but I wanted something neutral so it could be reused. Its also a major space saver, I live in an apartment. My friends w/ space to spare say they wish they had it anyway

It locks so it can double as a seat as well.

Hahaha - we got this swing for our shower. My Husband and I both picked it out and the baby seat that matches it as well. We think it is great for a boy or a girl.

Here's a tip: I suggest that you look for a swing that can plug into the wall as well as accept batteries, so that you don't have to spend a ton replacing batteries if you have a baby that loves his/her swing.

We got the Graco Sweetpeace....love that it plugs in, can be used with plugging in iPod and vibrates! (we got the one without the giraffe prints because we wanted something neutral)

I have the sweetpeace too. I love it! DH loves the iPod attachment... hehe... I love that it can be plugged into the wall, it rocks both ways, and you *should* be able to use your car seat in it (the seat removes, leaving an area where you could put your car seat if LO is sleeping,etc)

We have the Fisher Price Little Lamb swing. We haven't actually "used" it yet but I think it is adorable. A friend of ours actually gave us an older version of it as well. So we have one upstairs and one downstairs. Hope our little one likes it.

I completely 2nd that. The swings seem to eat batteries. If our old swing dies, I want the swing that starts up with batteries an then continues to run using magnetic power. Can't remember who makes it.

We went with the Summer Carter in Bumble (it's actually much prettier in person) Since it will be so humid and warm here when she's born we veered away from the fluffy furry lined ones. This is a new product, and it's super compact - which is perfect for our apartment. Plus it travels really well too. It plays music, nature sounds and womb sounds and has a timer. I really hope we receive it at our shower ... but if we don't it's a decent price.
