3rd Trimester

I'm all meh about DH's training.

three weeks. I'm going to miss him so much.

But Dad bought me a digital camera for the computer for my birthday. It arrived today. So we can skype at night. So cool. And he can see my belly progression.

Still going to miss him. But I will be happy all the long-term tranining will be done.

Re: I'm all meh about DH's training.

  • Yeah, that's no good.

But count your blessings. My sister is due June 27th.  Her husband will have been in Afghanistan for a year (minus the 3 weeks he was home in October when she got pregnant) when he comes home 2 weeks before she's due.

I always try to remember that when I get down about stuff in my life.  Things could be much worse.

Batman likes to watch cartoons on the weekends. Whatever.

I didn't mean for that to sound like I'm down-playing your situation or anything either... please tell me you didn't take it like that.

It definitely sucks when my DH leaves even for a couple of days, so I feel ya.  I can't even imagine what my sister is dealing with every day.

  • Very much so. Count those blessings hon. DH will be leaving in Dec for a long deployment. When he returns Brylee will be well over a year.

Oh my goodness. That's nuts! BTW - I still have the CIndy Lou Hoo onsie for you.

Oddly being pregnant has made me less emotionally sensitive in some ways. I have an excellent eye for good thoughts and positive sharing. Thanks for checkin in though. That's super sweet of you.

  • Three weeks will go by quicker than you think. My DH will be out of the country for 3 weeks in May so I understand. Of course mine also travels all the time so I am really used to it too. Good Luck and Skype is wonderful! We use it all the time when he is on longer trips.

I'm really praying we'll be able to Skype so I can at least show her video calls :) Oh my gosh, I forgot! I'll PM my address if that works? Thank you so much for getting it! What do I owe you? I hate not being able to find much up here. We've lost more stores in our mall. Even Hallmark left. It's so sad.

  • I'm sorry your DH is leaving :( Mine was supposed to leave for CA for three weeks this past weekend for training but the volcano cancelled his flight to Germany then the one from Germany to the US. So he's home. He thinks they'll try sending him again soon after the baby is born, though.
