I was at RE's yesterday and we were talking about starting the suppressants (for my femara cycle) on Friday.
I asked him if I don't get AF on time what will happen. He told me that I could take another cycle of and go on the BC pill to make sure I get it next cycle on time then start. I said No.
I think I may have Oed on my own this month, which would bring my period on, but a bit late. Probably around CD31. I'm not sure on this though.
So here's what I am thinking... I could go get a blood draw and see my levels. (today is CD20) If my progesterone is low couldn't he give me progesterone for a few days and then I stop around when my period should be and get a flow?
If the progesterone is a high level then do nothing cause I should bleed on my own?
What do you ladies think? What do you think I should do?
Re: Okay ladies, what should I do?
I guess its up to you either way. If the P4 is high, you could take the Progesterone regardless if you get a BFP as it won't do anything harmful to your body or potential baby.
I took BCP for several weeks the month that I got my BFP. Don't discount it if it will put you in a place where you can be in control of your cycle.
