I have been getting all the stuff together for 2 of them to tackle tomorrow. BM#1 cleans houses so the kids can't go with her. Her clients wouldn't like the kids in there house. DH is in a warehouse and they aren't allowed to bring the kids in. BM#2 and I rotate the kids (she is in new home sales). This year I have SD#1 and SD#2. I can't wait! I have so much for them to do. I don't bring them to watch I put them to work. We will get something good for lunch (I pack any other day). I'm looking forward to getting some of this stuff off my desk and they have fun too. They think it is better then school at least
Re: Tomorrow is take your kids to work day
Oneof my absolute favorite memories as a kid! I don't remember exactly how old I was, I think middle school. My mom is an anesthetist. I don't know if they still allow this, but I was allowed into 3 different surgeries. An open heart surgery(seeing the bypass machines, CRAZY), one where they were taking a byopsy for breast cancer, and another on a carotid artory. I remember the surgeon letting me stand on a stool and him pointing out the different veins and what not. I absolutly loved it. And then a high school girl came in to also observe, not sure, but she must have had a parent there too and quickly had to leave before passing out. I SO wanted to go into the medical feild after that, but realized I wasn't cut out fr the schooling, and insane hours.
So I became a dog groomer, haha.
