TTC After a Loss

No love on PgAL

I am kind of bummed out... a few days ago I posted a question on the PgAL board seeking feedback on experiences with clomid and/or femara.

My question was short and sweet and I extended kind words to the mothers on the board willing to help me out, but I did not receive any feedback.

I would have loved to receive a testimony on how a drug was their golden ticket for a baby, but no so much.

I hope one day when I do move to PgAL they will talk to me.

In the meantime, I am grateful for you wonderful ladies!

Re: No love on PgAL

  • Sorry you had a bad experience on PgAL.  I always hate posting on another board and not getting a response.  Makes me feel like the last kid picked for kickball or something.

    But we love you!!!

  • The ladies over there are really quite wonderful, I would just ask again. It might have been when folks were off board and the post got pushed down.

  • I have no doubt they are not wonderful people, but I am embarrassed to even go back.  I did feel like the last kid picked for a team!!!!  Not a good feeling.  That was the first time I posted outside of here and I think I will stay in my comfort zone.  Thanks for offering perspective.

  • Aw, try not to take it too hard. It happens to me even here (look below, hehe)!

EDIT: By look below, I meant on the posts list, not in this post, sorry if that was confusing!

  • I am not happy that you are knocking my friends on PgAL.  They are quite wonderful.  Maybe no one answered b/c of the TONE you used in your post.  Why don't you try introducing yourself (always should on the Bump) and explain your situation and ask kindly for help/ stories/input.  You kill more flies with honey...

  • Dude, if I took it personally every time someone didn't reply to my posts, I'd've left the Bump long ago.  Plow on, friend.  Eventually people will answer you.  And like you.  If you keep your tone light and your fingers nimble.

In other words, IMHO, ask again.

I'm sorry I don't have any answers -- although I'm pretty sure my sis had her luck with the same regimen, I know very little about it.

  • Sorry you didn't get a good response.  As a PgALer myself, I think you probably just happened upon a bad time for posting.  I don't have any experience with clomid/femara, so even if I had seen your post I wouldn't have had anything interesting to contribute.

Good luck with ttcal, and please don't take it personally.  Post again and you might get some answers.

  • You ladies know how to always make me feel better.  Thank you for your support. I was able to get some good information about the meds and feeling much better.  Hopefully my experience will help someone down the road.
