can a 7 week old dream/ have nightmares?

Maren woke up twice last night crying like I've never heard before.  It wasn't the normal "I'm wet and hungry cry", it was more like a painful wail and it was very sudden. The entire time she was crying, I noticed her eyes never opened once, that's why I guessed it was a bad dream.

She doesn't have reflux so I don't think it was stomach related.

It scared the crap out of me, needless to say.

  • Cooper's done that, I have no clue but we decided he was dreaming of a world w/out boobs.  Stick out tongue

  • I picture him trying to get food and running up against empty boobs and bottles.

What's funnier is when he giggles & smiles in his dreams.  I picture the scene from Happy Gilmore where he goes to his "Happy Place" and the girl pours beer all over him...except for Coop it's milk.

  • Kaley did that when she was a baby. The pedi said it was a form of night terrors.
