I am going to a local all day conference. I'm going to make a t-shirt to wear to the conference and around on the weekends, not sure what it will say yet, but probably something like:
"I am 1 in 6" Infertility Awareness. Break the Silence.
I keep seeing the 1 in 6 statistic but then I see 1 in 8 on resolve and I have seen 1 in 10 elsewhere... which one should I use?
Re: What are you doing for National Infertility Week?
I didn't even realize it was Nat'l Infertility Week! Where can I find more info?
Thanks!
TTC since August 2008

"Let it go, this too shall pass."
It's April 24-May 1st. I believe a lot of clinics in all different states are doing their own thing. I am going to an all day conference on Saturday. Other places are giving away cycles etc..., just google it or go to resolve.org
I am thinking of posting IF facts on my FB status every night. But we are not completely open about our IF, and I would have to have a long talk with dh first. I feel like it's not just me secret to tell.
I hate the fact that we feel like IF is something to hide at all.
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
What are you doing for National Infertility Week? Can I give the wisea$$ answer, not getting pregnant?
Thanks for letting me know about it, since I was not previously aware of National Infertility Week.
FET #1 Dec 2013 BFN
FET # 2 Feb 2014 BFN

PGD yielded 2 perfect 5d blasts
SET November 9, 2014
Nov 23, 2014. Another BFN
Not sure where to go from here.
I'm dressing up in costume and passing out fliers.
No, kidding. Seriously though. It's not my job to educate people. I am already really "out" with this part of my life. I don't feel like I need to participate in a parade or anything.
Hehehe. This.
I wasn't aware that there was a week dedicated to IF. Ironically, on 4/29, I have my followup D&C appointment to make sure my ute is post-op-happy, go over the lab results from the testing they did on the fetus, and decide on a next course of action. Hopefully I'll be back on the IUI path this summer. Fingers crossed for "good-enough" lab results!
