Diaper rash=Food allergy

It is possible for a food allergy to show its self just as a diaper rash? DS has never had even so much as a spot of diaper rash, redness, nothing. Then I started giving him peaches and it seemed like over night he had pretty bad diaper rash. After trying to eliminate things and coming up with nothing being any different other than the peaches, I didnt give them to him for a few days and now it is almost gone again. Just wondering if anyone has experienced that? TIA!

    Maybe it's the acid from the peaches?

    Sounds like he shouldn't eat peaches for a while.

    The acid is deffinately what I was thinking. He has reflux to I dont know if that makes any difference. I just wasnt sure if it was possible to only show itself in a rash soley in that area. I am going to hold off on the peaches for a while thats for sure.

    Yes, for us a rash = allergy. She never ever, ever gets a rash unless she's sensitive to that food.

    If you go to webmd.com it will tell you all about food allergies and food intolerance.

    Good luck figuring out what is going on with her!
