She's definitely old school, but she is super nice. When I pack up DD to get ready to take her home, the lady holds DD for me. When it's time to put DD in the carseat, she tells DD she'll miss her (DD is there only 2 or 3 days a week) and kisses her forehead.
Now it's sorta sweet, but sorta yucky all at the same time. Would you say something or just brush it off?
Re: WDYT about my daycare lady?
If it really bothers you, I would say something. Our DCP (in a center) asked if we minded if she kissed DS on the forehead once in awhile. It doesn't bother me at all, but I'm glad she asked.
It wouldn't bother me. For one, her germs are already all over your DD because of how much time she spends with her. Two, she is probably a bit attached to her and it shows how much she cares about her. IMO, better than her not caring enough about her.
This. They get sort of attached to our LOs when watching them, I think it is only normal to want to show some affection, so long as it is okay with the parents.
It didn't really bother me until I talked w/ a friend. She's the type of friend that makes you 2nd guess everything b/c she's raising her baby in a sterilized bubble.
I won't say anything. I just wanted another (sane) opinion.
Dont you hate that when you second guess yourself. Especialy from talking to our friends... To each there own. Hope all goes well!!
Your LO is so cute...I'd wanna kiss her too!
Awww, thanks! Your lil guy is super cute, too. Look how strong his neck is!
