If LO is in daycare

do you call to check in on them throughout the day?

I called the first 2 days Noah was in there, but haven't since.

    not usually but i will call to check in if dd was really fussy the night before or she was off the night before.

    LO just started yesterday, I called in the AM b/c she cried hysterically when I was leaving.  I called today at lunch time and I probably wont call the rest of the week, because it seems to be going well :)

    No. DS's sitter will call if there are problems, but I don't see that there's anything gained from me knowing if he's having a rough afternoon (other than me sitting at work worrying).

    Like you, I called the first couple of days but haven't since unless I am picking her up early or something. Occasionally I will text if I have forgotten to tell the DC something (its a home based day care)

    My mother watches DS but I call a few times a day to help with my letdown while pumping.

    I go to the DC and nurse him at lunch (almost) every day, but if I didn't do that I probably wouldn't call every day. Only when he is sick or seems like he is having an off day.

    Nope.  But our daycare has a webcam and I do go on there several times a day to peek in and see how she is doing.

    I only called on the first day. Our DCP is great -- I know she wouldn't hesitate to call at the smallest issue if she thought needed my attention.

    I visit every day at lunch (so far, it's been less than a week).  If I didn't have that option, I don't think I'd call.

    I don't, but her daycare provider sends me pics and videos and updates throughout the day.

    I called the first 2 days.  I will call if I am picking her up early or since DH drops her off to let her about medication or anything like that.

    I don't anymore. I did the first day though - mainly because I missed her. haha

    Our daycare updates a website with activities/feedings/diaper outputs though, so maybe that's why I don't feel the need.

    I don't call during the day. I did the first day she was there (because the teacher told me I could), but when I called I could tell that I was taking her away from babies who needed her attention. So, now I would only call if I was worried about something or if I needed to tell them something that I forgot.
