Question about HCG Levels going down

Hello-  I've never posted here before but am usually on the nest.  I had a d&c on 3/10 at 10 weeks after having a laproscopy for a thought to be ectopic in Feb.  I am still bleeding.  I also still have a level of 55 hcg as of last week, I find out today if that went down from last week.  Did anyone else experience a slow drop of hcg levels?  I am looking for other experiences like mine.  How long did it take for it to drop to zero?  My dr. mentioned that if it doesn't drop I will need to see a gyn oncologist and I am freaking out.

Thanks for any shared experiences you may have or know of.

    I didn't have a d&c, but my levels are taking awhile too. They dropped dramatically the first couple of weeks, but now they are very slow. They went from 40 at week 2, 20 at week 3, and 14.5 at week 4. I go again on Wednesday and I hoping for a 0, but who knows. Good luck!

    I'm sorry, but I'm no real help here... I did not have a D&C, and my levels seem to be dropping pretty rapidly thus far. I miscarried 4/11. On the 10th my levels were 23000, then dropped to 13000 the very next day. At my follow up appointment on wednesday the 14, I was at 1400. I go back tomorrow and I hope they've dropped even more. I hope yours start to fall more rapidly... If you're anything like me, you just want people to stop poking you, in more ways than one.
