If you have a queen size duvet cover

Do you use a king size comforter? I feel like our queen down alternative comforter is drowning in this new duvet. I wonder if getting a king size will do the trick? Late night thoughts by gramy...they're so lofty, lol.

  • I'm almost positive we have a King comforter in a King duvet for our queen bed. We had a queen but it never really covered the sides right.?

  • I have the same problem.  The queen comforter is too small in the queen duvet.  It sucks.  It's like 2 feet short and slides around.  I was thinking about getting a full size duvet because the duvet is way cheaper than getting a new down comforter.
  • I have a king size down comforter in our queen size duvet.  I did have a queen size down comforter before we were married and it was swimming in it!  The king fits much better.

  • Certain brand duvets that we have for our down comforter dont seem to fit. One of our duvets was like 3' too long but just the right width.

How much bigger is it? Could the package have been mismarked?
