anyone delivered at Troy Beaumont lately?

If yes I was wondering what the hospital photographer was like?  I delivered DS there two years ago and for pics they took him down the hall somewhere and did pics then came back and showed them to us. 

I know people that have delivered at Royal Oak recently and they did the pics right in the room and even did family pics and sibling pics.  Do they do this at Troy now too??

    Yes they do the pictures right in the room. You can have anyone in the pics. I asked not to be in the pictures b/c I had a c-section and wasn't able to get up on my own since I was still hooked up to everything.

    They did a really good job. Like she said they are pretty pricey, but it was worth it to get those first moments in the hospital.

    Ha! I was actually going to ask the same question!  Links would be awesome ladies because I have no idea what to do for them... I figure they'll to a good job...but if I see one that I like better I want to make sure to ask for that pose.  Thanks!

    What are the prices like?  I keep hearing people say it's pricey, but haven't heard any actual numbers.  I know I'll probably end up getting those pictures, but would be nice to stash that money away now.

    this is exactly what I paid for 23 pictures that were really only like 7 poses. I don't think it is worth it but my emotions got the better of me. I wish I had not been so lazy and had our normal photographer come over right away and do them b/c she gives us a ton of pictures. My pictures are on my snapfish account so pm me and I can send the link.

    I delivered at Royal Oak Beaumont and I totally agree that it is probably not worth the cost!  We had a friend download some and print them for us and it was not until February (8 months after DS was born), they re-sent me the link and OF COURSE my emotions got the better of me and I ordered the CD.  I also paid exactly $132.  The pictures are beautiful though and as a matter of fact one of them won picture of the week on the pregnancy and newborn magazine website! 

    I am planning to deliver at Troy Beaumont when we have another, so I am glad it is Bella Baby.

    thanks for all of the responses, especially the prices.  I'm getting induced on Wed so I was really wondering what to expect.  I'm sure my emotions will get the better of me also...especially if they get some cute pics of DS w/ DD!  At least this way I won't be in sticker shock.

    I also bought the CD for $132.  I didn't think it was too bad.  I had originally planned to have a photographer come to the house for her newborn pics, but I also thought I had another 6 weeks before she was born, so we weren't exactly ready (the house or us!).  The disc was perfect and convenient.  I though the convenience was so worth the price!  We used two of the pics for our announcements.
