who has tall skinny DD?

our 6 month check was today. DD is 27 3/4 inches long and only 17lbs 6 oz. Dr said it is fine but she is 94% on height and 65% on weight. I am not worried. I know she is healthy but who else has a tall skinny child? I always see chubby babies on here. Where the skinny girls at?

    Rach is 25 in and 12.5 lbs.  Harm was the same way!  It isn't a big deal.

    Mere is a skinny mini :o) She was 17 lbs even at her Dr. appt last week and that was with her clothes on. She's probably about 27".

    ditto this! LOL. DD1 has always been off the charts in height but 50% for weight. She needs like a 3-4T for length and 18mo for waist. I don't know what we would do w/out adjustable waist pants! :)

    TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
    BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.

    My DD was barely 17 lbs at her 9 month check up (they rounded up to 17 lbs) and she was 29 3/4 inches. So your 6 month baby weighs the same as my 9 month baby. ;) I chalk it up to she is constantly moving and burns a lot of calories that way. The dr isn't concerned with her weight gain since she's been fairly healthy

    DS was 85th for height (29.25") and 5th for weight (18lbs) at his 9 month appt.

    DD was always tall and skinny, and now she's started evening out.

    Zoe was in the 90th percentile for height -- 27 3/4 inches and 50th percentile for weight -- 15 lbs, 10oz. 

    She's very tall -- I can't believe how quickly she has outgrown her pants!  She can wear 9 month and 12 month pants at this point.

    At Abby's 6 month well visit she was 25 1/2" and only 12.4 lbs. ?The doctor said it was fine.

    dd's 9 month appt. was today ... 30 1/2" long and 19 pounds, 4 ounces.  pedi's not worried, she's always been in the same 95th height percentile and 45-50th weight percentile.

    My daughter is 29 inches and 17.9 pounds.  It is so hard to find pants to fit her right.  I get them to fit the length and they are falling off of her.  She can fit most of her size 3-6 month skirts from last year  lol.
