I am 36 today - and first time poster..

Hi - Well as you can probably guess I wish I would of already had my first born my now.. but everything happens for a reason. We are "trying" I have had a miscarriage last year, a few months after that my new dr. found, a fibroid, polyp and endo. All 3 have been treated, the endo just partically treated. But I have 8 months to get a bun in the oven before some of that stuff grows back.

I know it's in God's hands..  and reading your posts sure helps...

I am still learning the lingo so bare w/ me.

    1 ectopic 3 m/c's prior to 5/05 Un-freaking-explained IF 5/05 IVF, BFN 9/05 FET 3d5e, BFP = Beautiful Baby Girl (lucky pg #5) 8/08 Fet 3d5e, cp 12/08 IVF with PGD, transfer 3, BFN 5/09 FET transfer 4, BFN Hail Mary IUI with Follistim 9/11 BFP; 9/22 confirmed tubal/MTX 4/10 FET 3d5e, BFP!!!! m/c 5/26/10 1 year break and yet another m/c 5/11 FET #5 initial beat 121, second beta 7 Lap and removal of L tube and very mild endo 7/11 Suprise BFP 12/11 & m/c @ 8 wks. After 11 losses and one beautiful miracle our journey is over, we are thankful and at peace.

    Happy Birthday!  I'm new to these boards too.  The lingo is tricky...even something like ETA (edited to add) I thought was "estimated time of arrival" on message boards?  DUH!

    Hi and welcome!  For lingo, see the glossary at the bottom left of this page.  Helps a lot.  Not all acronyms are included, but most.  So sorry for your loss and good luck.  Hopefully you won't have to hang out here too long (in a good way Wink)
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    Happy Birthday, It's still Sunday for me, late work night.  sorry about your miscarriage. It sounds like you've been busy getting the next 8 months ready so Have fun and Good Luck. as far as lingo I am still lmbo at the other responses as I thought ETA and TIA were what they thought as well. Well I hope we aren't on the TTC boards long enough to learn them all. Warm welcome and good luck wishes to you!

    WELCOME!  Happy Birthday (although belated now)!  I am sorry for everything that you have been through, but I can tell you this much.......you have definitely come to the right place!  These women, as you will soon find, are quite an amazing bunch, and SOOOOO genuine and caring!  It is a wonderful place to be!  I hope too, that you don't have to be here too long!  *hugs*
