38 week appointment: 3 cm dilated!

Went to the dr today. Baby is low, and I am 3 cm. Dr is guessing I won't get to my next appointment on Monday... she's guessing any time now or in the next couple of days. Just curious for those ladies that are dilated... I went from 0 last week to 3 this week. Anyone been at 3 or so for awhile now?

Oh and I definitely have bloody show.... Dr warned me after this check up to wear pads.

I'm at the same point at you-# of weeks, this week i'm 2cm dilated and 50% effaced-same as my appt. on thursday. my mucus plug has also been coming out (this weekend). She said this week she thinks i'll go..but then reminded me..it is always hard to predict. Good luck

Lucky girls!! I am 80% effaced and only a fingertip dialated and have been for a couple weeks. Jealous!!

Last appointment( Last Thursday) I was 2cm Dilated 80% effaced and -2 Station!!

I had the Dr. appt today too.. I was 2cm dilated last week and I'm 3cm and 80% effaced this week...I'm happy about the progress

With baby #2 I was 3cm and 100% effaced at 38 weeks. At 39 weeks I was still PG and 4cm. She was born on her due date. So, you might go into labor soon or like me, be PG for 2 more weeks. BUT...when DD did decide to make her arrival it was super fast, since I was already so far progressed.

Don't you love this... progressing well but really don't know! Thanks for the replies ladies. I am now bleeding quite a bit too. Dr warned me it would happen though. Fun times.

At 35 weeks, I was "pretty thinned" and fingertip dilated; today I was 80%, 3 cm, and her head is "right there." I'm happy with progress, but I know it doesn't guarantee anything (unfortunately!).
