Just bumped into a couple of NICU nurses!

My office is right around the corner from where Max was born and stayed; one of the bonuses when he was in the NICU, was that I could go visit him several times during the day... I just to get a soda at a lunch place across the street, and bumped into 2 of his NICU nurses, who I haven't seen since he was discharged!

They both gave me hugs and asked how Max is doing (so bummed he wasn't with me!) and it's so nice to know that they remember us as much as we remember them... they asked when they'll get to see Max, so I'm glad we'd already planned a visit for later this week (to deliver some cookies to celebrate his birthday)

So the purpose of this post is this: If you've thought about going to visit and say hi at the NICU, DO IT! :)

    We go to visit when we go for K's NICU follow ups.  Plus I send cards with pictures every holiday to the NICU.  They love seeing "their" babies.  I remember when K was still in the NICU and a graduate would come in.  Everyone always got so excited!  Plus it's always nice to hear how wonderful and cute and big your LO is :)

    I went to the NICU last week to donate some preemie outfits and I saw the nurse who spent the most time with us/ Aidan. She told me that she wants me to let her know when my next c/s will be so she can be scheduled in the OR.
