Teachers on the Northshore

How hard was it to get a job? I'm considering a career change in the years I'll be sahm with Lennon and thought about finishing my degree and possibly teaching.

Is this realistic? I obviously would want to teach at his school.

    I am not a teacher on the northshore but we thought about moving out there and getting a teaching job is VERY difficult.  mrssaxy could give you more info, I think she teaches over there.

    My husband has been a teacher for 7 years, the past 3 of them in St. Tammany Parish. This year they had a reduction in force...so he is on the job hunt. The only reason he got into the parish when he did was because of a head coach position...it is very hard to get it.
