Pregnant after a Loss

Is there anything that DH does that bothers you?

He went out to get something to eat before he went to work. His favorite: Taco Bell.

For some reason whenever he eats it he chews so freaking loud! His mouth is closed but I can hear him chewing on a soft taco (or whatever he is eating) I don't want to say anything but it grosses me out and grates on my nerves.

Not only that I am getting hungry and I just ate 2 hours ago. My sugar was a little higher than I'd like (not over the limit, but it worrys me nonetheless) and I am not sure if I should have a snack or not.

Sorry, you got two vents in one

Mine can get that way too. And he'll rub the same spot over and over. I feel like my skin is raw when he does that! I feel you!

  • The loud chewing is my biggest pet peeve of DH's.  My MIL does it too, so I know who to blame.  As far as snacks go, my dietician said that vegetables and proteins (string cheese is a good snack) shouldn't raise your blood sugar.  Also, going for a short, 15 minute walk can help lower sugar levels if they are a little high.

  • He likes to walk by a slap my ass. He's always done this, but well, with the pg my ass has gotten to be quite the target, so it irriates me more because it just reminds me how much extra junk I have in the trunk. Hmmmpphh...

It wasn't over the limit but I wasn't sure when or what I should snack on. Thanks for the advice! I do have some string cheese and I always forget that it's there! lol

  • Definitely eat the snack when you are supposed to...I find with GD if you eat when you are supposed to, you wont be tempted to eat things that are bad for you.

Funny you say that, bc my poor husband can't catch a break to save his life the past couple days..I dont even think he's doing anything except just happening to cross my path.  This baby needs to evacuate pronto!
