Pre-Delivery Classes...

Well we waited to long to register for a class at our hospital.  They are currently all full, with the next available the weekend before we are due.  (That doesn't even sound like something I want to schedule!) Suggestions? We will do the hospital tour one for our hospital.  But I really wanted to do the other one.

    If you can get in with another hospital in the same system...they talk a LOT about policies (when you can get an epidural, etc) and such during the class and if you're within the same hospital system it will be more useful.  DH and I took our class at Sugar Land Methodist and I delivered in the Med Center...some of the info translated, but overall I found it helpful to be within the same system since the anesthesiologist we had speaking at our class worked in the med center and in Sugar Land.

    We're in the same boat as KelleyA. I'm delivering at Memorial Hermann but my hospital was booked or full for the classes we wanted. We ended up taking them at two other area hospitals and taking only the actual tour at our location. Good luck!

    I just needed to get another person! The first lady I got was a "no option" chick.  Why not give me more options?? I had to go back online and do my own research and find a new class and then I got to speak to the actual instructor that said everything that KelleyA said! She was MUCH more helpful than the first chick.  So we are registered at another location and will do the tour at our hospital.  Thanks ladies!!! Hormonal Trish over here was not doing good with all this mess. I just need it to all fall into place...one more thing off my list! YEAH!
