Lila likes expensive toys...Daddy is in for it later

Everyone tells me how much their kids like simple stuff like shoes, socks, bowls and wooden spoons, kitchen pans, etc., and that I don't need to spend money on expensive stuff.

We have tried all kinds of stuff like that and she looks a tus like we're crazy and drops it on the floor. Lol.

Now the big item toys like the $50 playcenters, light up music toys, etc... THOSE are her favorites. I guess I'm destined to have a little spender on my hands. My poor DH is so frugal...he's totally in for it.

Maybe we just need to stop trying to give her simple things like that and she'll want them.

    I wish my kid liked the expensive toys. We bought a ton and she would still rather chew on my wallet, cell phone, shoe, toe, etc.

    I always give her a spatula when she's in the kitchen with me. She waves it around for a second, drops it and looks at me for something else. Haha.

    Oh, well I'll admit she LOVES my iphone. But that isn't exactly cheap. Lol!

    LOL, A loves my diamonds (ring and necklace). I keep telling her Daddy will buy her some diamonds one day. He is totally in for it.
