Did apple juice or pear juice? This kid hasn't really pooped in about a week. The pedi suggested oatmeal and fluid. She didn't care for the oatmeal. She's 9 months and she's straining occasionally during the day with no results but otherwise she is not in discomfort. Her stomach does not feel hard. When do I get worried? When did you go the suppository route?
Re: If prune juice didn't work for your LO...
I went the suppository route after a few days, but it was when she was clearly struggling to go and it was causing her pain.
Prune juice normally works for us.
We mix it in every bottle, the amount varies... our pedi recommended an ounce per month, so do up to 6 oz a day when LO is straining.
We use apple prune or pear juice.
Sorry, what did you mean here. I assume this is typo. An ounce per bottle?
