everyone you are pregnant? I know it's a personal decision, just wondering what you all did. We've told a couple people and my work knows because they are all women and not dumb

But we haven't told family and our friends. My DH and I go back and forth about this...

I told very close friends early in 1st tri. Work I told when I had to for safety reasons at 7 wks.

Mainly we waited till 2nd tri to spread the news.

I'm only 5w2d and we've only told my parents, my sister, and my 2 good friends one of which went through a m/c last year and just now had a healthy baby boy. My 2 friends knew my cycle and the one that had the m/c has kept up with my chart so they figured it immediately. We probably will not tell anyone else until 12 weeks.

We told our parents immediately, told some friends at 8 weeks, and then did not tell work until I got the amnio results back at 17 weeks.

I'm really early and so far have told just my mom & sister. We will probably wait to tell others until we're out of the 1st tri.

we told dh's family the day we found out b/c we see them all the time & it'd be really hard to keep it from them.

dh told his bf when he called to tell dh that they were pg w/ their 3rd. i will tell my parents & sisters tomorrow, assuming a great u/s.

everyone else i want to wait until 2nd tri. work - as long as possible.

We decided to tell anyone that we would want to know if something happens again. To us, this has meant family and close friends. We will tell everyone else once we're out of the first tri.

We told our parents at about 4 1/2 weeks. I know really early, but we had two previous m/c and I didnt tell anyone with those, so I felt like perhaps if we told this time, we were being positive and those would be the right vibes for our little peanut.

SO FAR so Good! I "think" I will be telling work on Wednesday this week (12w milestone!) by bringing some cupcakes for my team, and giving one to them to each to share in our good news.

We told our parents and really really close friends (about 6 of them) after our 6.5 we u/s. Everyone else found out this weekend. It was hard to tell after not telling for so long.

I told my mom (an ultrasound tech) at 7 weeks because of a spotting scare. We told DH's parents after our u/s at 9 weeks. And at 11 weeks, we slowly began telling friends as circumstances required or they guessed. We'll tell everyone else after we hear the heartbeat at our appt next week. At work it will probably stay a secret until I start to show.

I told my best friend, who has had 2 m/c herself, so she 'gets' it, right away, and told my direct boss at work at about 4 1/2 weeks in order to avoid some heavy lifting. We told our parents and siblings at 7 weeks, after seeing the hb. We just started telling our other friends and extended family in the last week. At this point, we're sort of on the plan of if it comes up, we'll tell but we're not shouting from the rooftops yet.

We just told our moms this past weekend, and I told a close friend yesterday. My BFF is coming up next weekend, and I plan to tell her in person. That will be the day before our first u/s.

As for work and others, no idea. Probably when I start to show, or after the NT scan.

I told my mom and my sister after I got my betas back. DH told his mom after our 1st u/s. We told one friend after our 12 week appt. We told everyone else after our 16 week appt.
