I use a Medela Swing and had been using the plastic bottles to pump into/freeze. Finally got a box of the pump n save bags today and totally spilled it while in the middle of pumping.
For some reason the instructions for how to attach the damn things to the pump are not making sense to me.
So annoying. (Also, really? $20 for 50 small plastic bags? That's ridic.)
Re: I'm an idiot (re: Medela BM storage bags)
In my bag: Canon 60D, 50mm 1.4, Tamron 28-75 2.8, 430exii
Here's what I do--it's a little crazy but it's been working for me for a year:
I pump into a Medela bottle on one side. On the other side, I tape a Lansinoh bag onto the pump (like the Medela bags connect) and pump right into that. The Lansinoh bags are way cheaper (50 for $10).
I didn't like the medela bags bc they do not hold enough milk as compard to other brands like Gerber. 1 bag couldn't even hold one pumping session for me. I liked that it could attach to the pump but I usually pump into bottles and pour into bags if needed.
