If you use Enfamil

DD has only been on formula for about a month now with Enfamil Premium. Well, we got given some cans of Enfamil (not the premium) and I opened one today and for some reason at bedtime she was refusing her bottle off and on. Is it possible she notices a difference in the taste? I noticed a slight difference in the powder.

    hmm interesting.  I don't know because I have never given her anything besides the premium....because the old one is basically gone out of the stores here now.

    Maybe try mixing the powders and see if that helps if you are set on using the free cans. Did you check the exp dates?

    I think just the regular lipil or whatever has extra iron in it doesnt it?

    I noticed that if it is the regular Enfamil a lot of times it will clog up nipple therefore she may not be refusing it, but not able to get anything out. I would check to make sure there is no powder blocking the hole.

    I think the Premium is enhanced with Probiotics, a trendy new additive in nearly everything to help clear out the gut

    DD never seemed to have a problem if I used premium vs. regular Enfamil (although it would throw her poop schedule off a bit for some weird reason). However, switching between pre-mixed from a can and powder never worked -- she hated premixed, and would refuse/throw up. Not sure if that is helpful.
