AW: My 28-weeker is 2 today!

I know I haven't been around much as of late, but I wanted to stop by... Max is 2 today! Such a long way from the 2lb4.8oz baby he was, fighting for his life in the NICU.

He was born on a Thursday, and every Thursday I take a photo of him and post it on my blog... last month was Thursday #100, and I made a collage of all 100 photos...

We're having a low-key day today; my sister and her family just left, after a Mexican food picnic on our lawn, and all the grandparents will be here for dinner... the birthday boy is napping, and I'm just revelling in what an amazing person we've created and have the joy of raising.

We have a group of 15 people walking next weekend (go Team Preemie Schmeemie!) and we'll celebrate after the walk with a huge group of friends and family...

Happy Birthday, Max! I forgot just how close my Keira's birthday was to your son's! The picture collage is awesome! It's amazing to watch his little face fill out! Great idea!
