I had been putting him in the bouncy seat right outside of the tiny bathroom with the door opened, but he is just about too big for it, and despite being buckled in... he tries to get out.
I am considering the Jumperoo or Exersaucer, also right outside the bathroom door, but I am not in love with the idea.
Waiting until he naps is not always practical, or else I would do that. I've tried getting up before him in the morning, but it seems that whenever I do that, he gets up early.. haha.
Re: Where do you put LO when you shower?
Exersaucer in the bathroom.

If DD is awake when I need to shower, then I put in Baby Einstein in my room and she watches it safely from her bouncy chair. Keeps her perfectly calm while I can have a relaxing shower. I shower in our ensuite so I am literally 10 steps away from her.
I'm not a huge advocate of children watching TV, but I figure her watching this for maybe 15 minutes a few times a week, is not going to harm her. And she's learning at the same time.
I use the shower in his bathroom, put a gate in the doorway, close the bedroom door, and let him play in the room. We've baby-proofed the hell out of his room, so it's pretty much just him, the furniture, and some toys. Most days he just stands at the gate talking to me, or plays with his baby scale that sits outside the door (he likes to push the button so it makes music).

If I have to take a shower and he's awake I put him in his high chair with some toys and put him right outside the room with the door open so he can see me.
Usually I will just shower when he naps or after he goes down for the night.

Me too.
On a blanket right in front of the bathroom door with some toys or under the playmat. When she gets mobile I'll use the PNP outside the bathroom door.
We have a really big hallway. Such a waste of space....
Usually she showers with me. We have a non-slip mat in our tub, I set her down on it with her toys and she loves it.
On the times I want my own shower I either take one when DH is home and he can keep an eye on her, or take one after she goes to bed at night.
